SubTrackr

Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 2026

Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy sets out the types of information collected, used and safeguarded by SubTrackr ("the App") when used on your iOS device.

In short: everything you enter - subscription names, prices, renewal dates, cancellation links - stays on your device in local storage. There is no account, no server, and no third party ever sees your subscription list.

1. What You Enter Into the App

SubTrackr only knows what you tell it: subscription names, prices, billing cycles, renewal dates, categories, and any cancellation link you choose to save. None of this is verified against your real bank or card statements, and none of it is uploaded anywhere - it lives in your device's local storage only, the same way a note-taking app would store a note.

2. Cancellation Links

If you save a cancellation link for a subscription, tapping it opens that page in your device's browser. SubTrackr has no relationship with, and shares no data with, the sites those links point to - it's simply a shortcut to somewhere you'd have navigated to yourself. The App cannot cancel any subscription on your behalf; it never asks for or stores your login details for any other service.

3. "Manage via App Store"

For subscriptions billed through Apple, the App links directly to Apple's own subscription management page (apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions). This is Apple's own system - SubTrackr doesn't see or control what happens there.

4. Local Renewal Reminders

If you grant notification permission, the App schedules one local reminder per active subscription ahead of its next renewal date. These notifications are generated and delivered entirely on your device using Apple's on-device notification scheduler — no push notification server is involved, and no data about your subscriptions is sent anywhere to make this happen. You can revoke notification permission at any time in iOS Settings.

5. Information We Collect Automatically

SubTrackr is free to use, supported by third-party advertising and an optional one-time in-app purchase. To provide these services, we use standard industry software development kits (SDKs) which may collect certain device-level information:

7. Your Rights & Choices

You can change your ad consent choice from the Shop ("Manage Ad Consent"), or restrict advertising tracking from your device settings via Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. You can delete any subscription, or all of them, at any time from within the App - deleting the App itself removes all locally stored data along with it.

8. Children's Privacy

SubTrackr does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children.
