Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy sets out the types of information collected, used and safeguarded by FPL Assistant ("the App") when used on mobile iOS or Android devices.
1. Information We Collect Automatically
FPL Assistant is a free-to-use Fantasy Premier League companion utility supported by third-party advertising and optional in-app purchases. To provide these services, we use standard industry software development kits (SDKs) which may collect certain device-level information:
Device identifiers: mobile advertising identifiers (such as Apple's IDFA or Android's Advertising ID) used to deliver relevant advertising.
Technical data: your device model, operating system version, system language, and IP address (used to infer your approximate region for the correct currency display).
App data: Your saved squad, watchlist, captain choice, and any public Mini-League ID you enter is stored solely and persistently on your own device using local storage - it is never uploaded to us or to any server.
2. Mini-League Lookups & Notifications
Public League IDs: if you enter a Fantasy Premier League Mini-League ID, it is stored locally on your device and used only to label the standings shown within the App - it is never transmitted anywhere. We do not require or store any FPL account login or password, and we do not access your official FPL account in any way.
Local notifications: with your permission, the App may schedule on-device reminders (such as deadline countdowns or nightly price-change alerts). These are generated and delivered entirely on your device and do not involve any push notification server.
3. Third-Party Services We Use
The App integrates the following third-party services, each with its own independent privacy policy:
Google AdMob We use the Google Mobile Ads SDK to display banner and interstitial adverts. AdMob uses anonymised identifiers to serve, personalise and measure advertising performance. You can read Google's policy here: Google Privacy Policy.
App Store Billing In-app purchases ("Remove Ads" and the "Premium Team Optimizer" analytics pack) are handled securely through Apple's App Store and Google Play Billing. We never collect, process or store your card details or payment credentials.
4. How We Use Collected Data
Any device data gathered automatically is used solely to:
Serve relevant banner and interstitial advertising.
Detect your regional locale, to display prices in the correct local currency (e.g. £, $, €, ¥).
Understand aggregate usage so we can improve the App's balance, features and design.
5. Your Rights & Choices (Opt-Out)
You can restrict advertising tracking, or opt out of personalised ads entirely, from your device settings:
On iOS: go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking and disable "Allow Apps to Request to Track".
On Android: go to Settings > Privacy > Ads and select "Opt out of Ads Personalisation", or reset your Advertising ID.
6. Children's Privacy
FPL Assistant does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children. If you believe an advertising identifier has been processed incorrectly, please contact us straight away using the details below.
